ABOUT ME

I’m a Documentary Director with over a decade of experience telling powerful, thought-provoking stories rooted in music, arts, and social history. My approach blends authenticity, sensitivity, and creativity with a deep respect for the people and communities at the heart of each film.

I've been nominated for a Griersons Award, an IDA Award, a RealScreen Award and in 2024, I was awarded the Royal Television Society Award for Best Arts Documentary for Fight the Power: How Hip Hop Changed the World.

What drives me is a genuine love for meeting new people, learning about different lives and the world around us. I try to live and work by the words of the late Maya Angelou:

“At the end of the day people won't remember what you said or did, they will remember how you made them feel.”

I’m always keen to collaborate and talk about projects so please get in touch!
